I just moved the day before and *horror of horror*, my internet suddenly broke down yesterday! So ya, that's why this is a bit late......

Christian Dior

Wow, talk about wild, crazy imagination. This show looked more like a feminine Halloween costume show, with complimentary theatrical makeup of course. This show is supposed to have some kind of Renaissance feel to it, but to me, it felt like a show of many exotic creatures in a scary UFO-attacks-Earth scenario. But there is no doubt that each piece of costume is couture -intricate details, beautiful material and cut dramatically.

First, meet the Egyptian Queen Knight, dressed in dazzling gold. Then there is a black knight from her team. She will scare away all enemies with her scary look and heavy armor.

A huge, furry animals arrives, followed by a strong, independent (and obviously stylish) spy. The red dress reminds me of the dresses from the Dior Cruise collection.

The pretty pink creature here is the somewhat normal, lovely one. Then there is the court jester, who also doubles as a tree with the planet flag on top.

And making way for the arriving spaceman, John Galliano, is a soldier who not only is dressed in eye-catching colours, but is also wearing a metal helmet.

Armani Prive

Compared to Dior, Armani's haute couture is certainly a lot less dramatic, but there was certainly a more distinct difference between this collection and the normal RTW collections. The dresses in this Prive collection are also a lot less 'slinky sleek' and more 'classic girly.'

I really like this coat -it's typically sleek, but it's the creative collar that stands out.

As usual, the whole collection is cream/white, black and grey, (with very few exceptions.)

Sooo pretty! *Drools* Somtimes classic colours are really the best.

Picture this: Two rich best friends arriving together at a gala. They're pretty, elegant and stylish in a classy way. Oh yea, what I want to say is... the dresses are absolutely gorgeous!
