While I was staring at the fashion runways of this season- geometric designs just jumped out at me from every direction! And I swear I am not hullicinating from too much maths, here's my proof:

Geometric designs: skirt by Prada and dress by its sister brand, Miu Miu.

Shapes of Geometry: Circles on the Vuitton skirt and diamond squares on the Dior dress.

Repeating Units: On the Marc Jacob jacket and the Philosophy by Alberta Ferreti skirt.

There! And who can blame them? Geometric designs are just so funky and retro on clothes-and this is especially true for those really out there outfits from Prada and Miu Miu. And at the same time they can be SO classical too- more specfically those diamond squared patterns- why else would they come up with a whole name of its own for it-plaid. Anywho, here are some of our picks for this trend:

This geometrically designed set by Valentino-but just because we're showing it in a set does NOT mean u should wear the whole set together. That might just be a tinsy bit too much. . .

A very pretty plaid skirt perfect for a picnic by Anthropologie.

And I absolutely LOVE these bermuda shorts from Trina Turk. They are just soooo cute! So you see, geometry is not just about maths!
